Part-Time Fee Scheme For Undergraduate Courses
This year the Government has approved a part-time fee scheme for SUSI funding. For programmes to be eligible for this scheme they must lead to an undergraduate major award, such as a Higher Certificate, Ordinary Degree, or Honours Degree. You will need to complete between 30 and 50 credits each academic year, with any remaining credits arranged in your final year. Classes can be attended in-person or through a hybrid format that includes some in-person sessions beyond just registration, enrolment, or exams.
To avail of this scheme an applicant must satisfy various criteria including a means test, residency, nationality, and progression requirements. SUSI are administering the Scheme which is now open for applications for funding for the 2024/25 academic year.

How to Apply
Before you Apply
Before you apply for a part-time programme at TUS, we recommend that you research your course, through this prospectus and by viewing the programme webpage on www.tus.ie. Please ensure to check the entry requirements and the delivery schedule as these are individual based on course requirements. You will find details on entry requirements on the individual course webpage.
When to Apply
TUS part-time courses are popular, and they fill on a first come, first served basis subject to eligibility. There is one intake each year for our SUSI funded programmes in September (Autumn Intake). Closing dates for applications are listed on the individual course webpages.
How to Apply
Applying for a flexible learning course is easy, simply visit the webpage of your chosen course and select the ‘apply now/register your interest’ button and follow the steps outlined.
It is recommended that you should concurrently to BOTH TUS and SUSI

Please note that these programme will NOT proceed during this academic year if there are not sufficient numbers of registered students. In advance of the proposed start date of these programme in Sept 2024, you will receive regular updates from TUS as to whether your selected programme will proceed in Sept 2024.
