What Our Students Say about TUS…

My time at TUS was a rollercoaster of experiences. I went from having my head stuck in my books to running a social and cultural society of over 200 people.

My academic life was also one I will always look back on fondly because of my supportive lecturers, friendly course mates and dedicated supervisor. Because of them (and a lot of effort on my part) I was able to finish my degree with a first-class honour. Now I work as a graduate facilities engineer at Intel and am very happy with my choices in life so far.Oluwadamilola Akinsola from Nigeria, studied BEng in Mechanical Engineering (Level 8) at TUS.

” Reflecting on my time at TUS, I can honestly say that it has been an unforgettable and transformative experience, both academically and personally. After graduating, I was fortunate enough to continue my journey at TUS in a new role—as a lecturer. I had the privilege of teaching robotics to students, and it was an incredible experience to be on the other side of the classroom.

With a combination of hard work, determination, and the strong foundation I built at TUS, I was able to achieve a lifelong dream. I officially started my new role as a Cloud Engineer at Amazon. It’s a challenging and exciting career, and I feel well-prepared thanks to the solid education and support I received throughout my time at TUS.” – Priyanshu Jain from India. Studied Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering (Level 8). at TUS.

“Personally, the most rewarding aspect of my Digital Marketing programme has been the opportunity to develop a digital marketing strategy for a real company.

I was tasked with designing brand guidelines, building social media channels, and optimising the company’s website for search engines. Other modules also provided valuable insights. Embedded within these modules are professional, industry-recognised certifications in inbound marketing from HubSpot, pay-per-click advertising from Student, analytics from Google and web development from Shopify. This programme also helped in preparing me for the National Digital Student of the Year awards in Ireland of which I emerged a Bronze Winner ” – Ali Li from China. Studied MSc in Digital Marketing (Level 9) at TUS.

”This programme significantly contributed to my professional goals by providing a good foundation on engineering topics and Professional Development. This course went beyond technical knowledge, focusing on essential career skills.

The blend of knowledge and practical skills in my programme positioned me for a successful career. Some of the modules that made this possible include Electrical and Instrumentation Drawing, Control Installation, Equipment Control Systems, and various Renewable Energy Systems, among many others, that have expanded my technical expertise and adapt to evolving industry trends. After my programme, I was able to get a Graduate job as an Electrical Engineer at Kirby Group Engineering, setting me up to start my Engineering career in Ireland.” – Rosangela Condori Chavez from Peru. Studied BEng Renewable and Electrical Energy Engineering (Level 8) at TUS.
