Any new applications submitted after 30 April 2026 will not be considered and will be issued a refund of the €50 application fee.

You can search for a list of courses open for international students from Undergraduate to Postgraduate through the link – TUS Global Courses.
The minimum English language requirements for TUS vary by programme. For most undergraduate courses, a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) is required, and for nursing, it’s 7.0. Postgraduate courses also require a 6.5 score. Equivalent tests like Duolingo, TOEFL, and Pearson PTE are accepted as well. For more information, visit HERE.
Typically, you’ll need your International Passport, Certificates, academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency, a CV/Resume, and any required references. For specific programmess, you may need additional documents such as a portfolio (for art and design courses). For more information about any programme, send us an email at global@tus.ie.
For postgraduate programmes, some may require a cognate background (related field of study), while others accept students from different disciplines, especially if they have relevant work experience. Check specific Postgraduate programme requirements HERE.
A strong CV for postgraduate applications should highlight your academic achievements, relevant work experience, internships, and any skills that align with the program. Include clear, concise descriptions of your roles and achievements.
The application fee applies to direct students only and for direct students, it cannot be waived. Students who apply through TUS Official Agents are not charged this fee.

Late applications may be accepted depending on the availability of places and at the discretion of the admissions team. It is also important to note that a course can reach it’s full capacity before the official closing date, especially for high demand programmes. However, it’s always best to apply before the deadline to secure your place. Applications for September 2025 session closes on the 1st of June, 2025.
Not everyone is guaranteed a scholarship. Scholarships are competitive and based on GPA or other types of scholarship available. You do not need to apply for them separately during application. Eligibility criteria is based on the assessment of the admissions team. Find out the various scholarships available at TUS HERE.
If you have a family member who is currently studying at TUS or graduated, you can avail of the TUS Sibling Scholarship. Please note this scholarship only applies for a direct relative with the same surname and not extended family relatives, godparents or family friends.
If you wish to change your course after applying or receiving an offer, you’ll need to contact the admissions office as soon as possible to discuss your options. Send an email to global@tus.ie to make a request.
If you have an unconditional offer letter from TUS, you would need to secure your place by making a deposit of €1,000 within 21 days of getting your offer else your place in the programme will not be guaranteed.
At TUS, we only offer September programmes. There is no January or May intake. Students can also not defer and choose to start in January.

Graduates with an award at Level 8 (BSc Hons) on the National Framework of Qualifications will be granted a twelve-month permission to work after studies. Graduates with an award at Level 9 (MSc or PhD) or above on the National Framework of Qualifications who qualify for the Programme will be granted permission for 12 months initially. This will be renewed for a further period of twelve months (subject to the overall eight year limit on student conditions not being exceeded) where the graduate satisfies the immigration authorities that he or she has taken appropriate steps to access suitable graduate level employment (for example, attendance at job interviews, signing up with graduate employment agencies).
