Driving – Moylish Campus

TUS Moylish Campus is easily accessible by car via two main entrances:

  • Main entrance: off the Old Cratloe Road
  • Secondary entrance: via the Cratloe Road Roundabout

Parking on Campus

Please only park in officially marked parking spaces, purchase a ticket, and ensure it is clearly displayed in your vehicle. Parking violations may be enforced, and we ask all drivers to respect our neighbours, as Moylish is located in a residential area.

Free Parking Options

If campus parking is full or you prefer a free option, there are several alternatives with shuttle connections:

  1. TUS Gaelic Grounds – Entrance via Corrib Drive (Gates 5 and 6), located beside Chill The Beans coffee shop, V94 CF77
  2. Limerick Baptist Church – V94 A564
  3. TUS Coonagh Campus – Free parking is available, with a shuttle bus operating between TUS Coonagh Campus and TUS Moylish Campus. See the shuttle schedule.

Driving Responsibly

At TUS, we encourage all drivers to make safe, respectful, and environmentally conscious choices when travelling to and from campus:

  • Respect speed limits both on campus and in surrounding residential areas.
  • Be mindful of pedestrians and cyclists, giving them space and priority at crossings.
  • Avoid unnecessary idling – switch off your engine if you’re waiting for more than a minute.
  • Park only in designated spaces and never block entrances, walkways, or emergency access points.
  • Respect our neighbours – keep noise to a minimum and avoid parking in residential driveways or restricted zones.
  • Consider carpooling with classmates or colleagues to reduce congestion and environmental impact.

By driving responsibly, you help ensure safety, reduce pollution, and maintain positive relationships with our local community.

The following are considered parking violations that warrant being clamped or fined:
  • Parking in a Disabled Person’s parking bay.
  • Parking on double yellow lines.
  • Parking causing obstruction to a Fire Exit.
  • Parking over a Fire Hydrant.
  • Parking in Staff Car Park without a Staff Permit.
  • Failure to display a valid ‘Pay and Display’ Parking ticket or to have paid by text.

Driving to campus is convenient, but planning ahead, parking responsibly, and considering free parking/shuttle options will make your journey stress-free and help maintain good relationships with the local community.
