Application Process: Step by Step
Step 1 – Create your account
- Go to the TUS Global Application Portal.
- Click Create a new account.
- Enter your personal details exactly as they appear on your passport.
- Check your email for a verification link and check spam/junk.
- Return to the portal and log in.
Tip: Use a personal email address you check regularly as all offer and document requests will go there.
Applying through a TUS approved agent?
Your agent will submit your application on your behalf through their portal account. You will not pay the €50 application fee.
Don’t have a last name on your passport? Enter a hyphen in First Name and your name in Last Name.
Updating your Profile
In the ‘My Profile’ section of your portal, you can see and change your personal details and academic interests.
- View and Update: To change your details, click the “Update Profile” button. This button is in the top right corner of the picture below (marked with a red circle).
- Save Changes: Don’t forget to save your changes before you close the page.
Step 2 – Choose your course
- Log in and click Start New Application.
- Select the Academic Year you wish to begin studying.
- Proceed to select your level of study, programme type, and academic programme. The campus options you can select will be determined by the programme you have chosen.
Multiple Applications:
An applicant may only be considered for one programme at a time. If an applicant wishes to change the programme they have applied to, they can submit a Programme Change Request within the application portal. Where an applicant is deemed ineligible for one programme, TUS Global staff will make every effort to find an alternative programme offering that meets the needs & interests of the applicant. With the applicant’s permission, the submitted application will then be changed to the new programme and the applicant will not need to re-submit or pay another application fee.
Step 3 – Complete the form
You can save your application as a draft and return to it later. Read every question carefully and make sure the information is accurate and matches your documents.
Step 4 – Pay the application fee
A €50 non-refundable processing fee applies to direct applicants. This is deducted from your final tuition fee.
Step 5 – Upload your documents
- Log in and open your submitted application.
- Go to Supplemental Items & Documents.
- Upload each requested item using Choose File and then Upload for each individual document.
- Any documents you want/need to upload that do not have their own specific Upload section may be uploaded under ‘Additional Documents’.
Documents typically required:
- Passport (photo page)
- Academic certificates and transcripts
- Proof of English language proficiency
- CV/Resume
- References, if requested
- Portfolio – If needed for your programme of study
Step 6 – Wait for a decision
We aim to respond within two weeks of a complete submission. Competitive courses and peak periods may take longer. Track your status by logging into the portal.
Step 7 – Accept your offer
Once you receive an unconditional offer, secure your place by paying the €1,000 deposit within 21 days via through the link on your application portal.
