Meascán, the final exhibition of the LSAD Fine Art Masters programme is open to the public from September 3th to the 8th. Extending throughout the Clare St Campus during the hours of 9.30 -5 the show takes its title from the Irish word for mixture.
Meascán presents a varied collection of newly realised works and approaches to contemporary art practice by a diverse group of artists working across drawing, painting, photography, print, sculpture, installation and moving image.
Created in response to individual lines of enquiry the works engage with a broad range of concerns and approaches, from the personal and political to questions of place, memory, material, identity and contemporary experience.
