Current Role: Restructuring Associate at KPMG
I started working full time with KPMG in the Restructuring department two years ago after completing my degree in Business and Law in AIT. Alongside this, I am also being supported by KPMG in studying for the ACA exams and I am set to sit my FAEs next year with a view to becoming a Chartered Accountant. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in AIT and I fully believe that it set me up for future success. Our many in-class debates and presentations helped significantly with building my confidence as a speaker which was greatly beneficial when I started my professional career. We had guest speakers come to talk to us about their careers and their journeys, which put things into perspective and assisted in making a decision on what my next step would be after I completed my degree. I also had the opportunity to assist with planning our law ball and had the opportunity to take part in the Chief Justice’s Summer Placement Programme. This programme was an invaluable experience and a great honour to have been a part of.
