Green Campus

Welcome to our TUS Green-Campus website!  The theme of sustainability features strongly in the TUS Strategic Plan.  The involvement of TUS in the national Green-Campus programme is one of the ways in which we are taking action for sustainable development.

The Green-Campus programme encourages a partnership approach to environmental education and action in third-level institutions.  It is an evolution of the Green-Schools Programme and is managed in Ireland by An Taisce.  Achievement on the programme is recognised by the award of a Green Flag.  Further information on the Green-Campus programme can be obtained at http://www.greencampusireland.org/.
