How do I make an appointment with the Doctor in Moylish?

Doctor appointments are not a walk in service, all appointments must be pre-booked.
Registered students can contact by emailing nurses.midwest@tus.ie or telephone 061293106

How much is it to see a Doctor

The doctor appointment fee is €15 (Card payments only) or free with a valid GMS medical card.
Any students with a Medical Card contracted to a GP within a 5km radius of the college doctor cannot use their Medical Card for a consultation with college Doctor.

Is the College Nurses / Doctors service available over the weekend?

Evening and weekend medical cover/advice is covered by the Out Of Hours Doctor Service Numbers below:-

Can I get a medical certificate for missed lectures or exams?

Medical Certificates are only issued by a Doctor.
Retrospective certification cannot be issued so you should contact the Student Health Centre, at the time of illness or event.

Can I get help with chronic conditions like asthma or diabetes?

Yes there is medical support available for chronic medical conditions Email nurses.midwest@tus.ie or call 061293106 for an appointment

Can I get a pregnancy test at the Student Health Service?

Yes please Email nurses.midwest@tus.ie or call 061293106 for an appointment. Pregnancy test kits are also available from the Students Union Offices.

Can I get a prescription for contraception/birth control pills here?

We offer all types of contraception to students and provide the HSE Free Contraception Scheme for the eligible criteria. Email nurses.midwest@tus.ie or call 061293106 for an appointment

How do I request my Medical Records? How can I access my student health records

To request your Medical Record please email datacompliance@tus.ie.

Do you offer STI testing and treatment?
