BUDGET 2026

On 7th October 2025 the government announced fees reductions as part of Budget 2026 package.

– Permanent €500 reduction in the student contribution fee
– Apprentices in higher education will also see an up to 17% cut to their contribution, applied on a pro-rata basis.

Please note that eligible student accounts have now been adjusted. Please bear this reduction in mind when making payment in line with 50% payment deadlines.
