Program Details

A free 4-day summer camp for senior cycle students.

TUS Future Innovators Camp is an exciting four-day summer programme designed for TY, and 5th-year students who want to build future-ready skills in entrepreneurship, teamwork and creative thinking.

Throughout the week, students will work in teams to explore real challenges affecting communities and everyday life. Guided by experienced facilitators, participants will learn how to identify meaningful problems, understand different perspectives, and develop smart, practical solutions.

The camp includes:

  • Team-based challenges and activities
  • Interactive workshops on deep listening, design thinking, design-led innovation, AI use, pitching, and more
  • Guest speakers from business and community sectors
  • Final team showcase and presentations

Through the camp, students will also gain hands-on experience using digital tools, including AI-supported platforms, for research, idea generation and presentations while learning about responsible use, privacy and bias awareness.

By the end of the programme, students will leave with stronger confidence, structured problem-solving ability, entrepreneurial mindset skills, and experience presenting ideas in a supportive university environment.

The programme is funded by the Higher Education Authority and organised in conjuction with Kelly O’Brien, an IT lecturer and researcher at TUS, who is also an award-winning entrepreneur and an expert in AI/Machine Learning.
