On October 7th at 11:00 am (B09) on the Athlone campus and online, CPID will officially launch the most recent volume of our compendia series, the Compendium of Approaches to Integrating Digital Competencies into the Curriculum.
Professor Vincent Cunnane, TUS President, will formally launch the compendium. Sheila MacNeill, a celebrated higher education consultant on digital transformation and teaching innovation, will deliver the keynote address. Mr Colin Lowry, Senior Manager, Teaching and Learning, Enhancement and Digital Innovation at the Higher Education Authority, will also address the launch, which will include examples of some of the TUS case studies published in the compendium. Frances O’Connell, Vice President Student Education and Experience, will present closing remarks. And finally, the event will be closed by Dr Trevor Prendergast, Head of Department of Accounting and Business Computing.
Refreshments will be provided on arrival at 10:30 am, and a light lunch afterwards at 12.45 pm.
