*THIS COURSE IS CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT*
The MSc in MMC Leadership is a progressive executive education pathway designed to develop senior leadership capability in the adoption, optimisation, and strategic transformation of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). Delivered through three integrated stages, the programme supports experienced construction professionals in leading the transition towards more industrialised, innovative, and efficient approaches to project delivery.
The Postgraduate Certificate (30 ECTS) focuses on MMC adoption, providing learners with the practical knowledge and analytical frameworks required to identify opportunities, develop evidence-based business cases, and create implementation roadmaps aligned with organisational objectives.
The Postgraduate Diploma (60 ECTS) builds on this foundation by developing advanced expertise in optimising MMC delivery. Learners explore the processes, digital technologies, and integrated systems that enable successful implementation, with particular emphasis on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA), supply chain integration, and operational excellence.
The MSc stage represents the programme’s strategic capstone, enabling learners to address the wider organisational, commercial, and innovation challenges associated with MMC transformation. Topics include business model evolution, value chain integration, and building long-term organisational resilience and competitiveness.
Together, the programme provides a flexible and progressive learning journey that equips senior leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive transformational change in construction delivery.
Applicants must meet one of the following entry pathways:
Applicants should hold a Level 8 honours degree in Construction, Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Entry to the programme will be guided towards applicants working within organisations that can actively support and facilitate workplace-based learning and application.
Applications are also welcomed from experienced mature candidates who do not hold a Level 8 qualification but can demonstrate relevant professional experience. Such applicants will be considered in accordance with the Technological University’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) procedures.
