This programme responds to the growing need for:

Formal recognition of volunteer learning and experience
Professionalisation of volunteer practice
Enhanced community engagement capacity
Inclusive and ethical volunteering practices
Leadership development within voluntary organisations
Volunteer wellbeing and sustainability

The programme also supports lifelong learning and social inclusion by recognising that valuable learning occurs through experiential and community-based engagement. It provides a structured pathway for learners to critically reflect upon and articulate the competencies they have developed through volunteering activities.
