Graduate Robes
All graduates must pre-book robes with the official robe-makers, Phelan Conan Limited before Midnight Monday 28th October 2024. Robes may be pre-booked on line at www.phelanconan.com. The pre-paid hire fee is €45 or Pay on the day hire fee is €50.
The pay on the day hire fee can be made by scanning the Phelan Conan Ltd QR code on the day. Cash will not be accepted.
Due to the implementation of a personal 3D secure password during the credit card payment process on https://www.phelanconan.com Phelan Conan Ltd staff are no longer able to take bookings over the phone. This has been created to protect your online payments and if you don’t already have a 3D secure password you can activate it by following the simple instructions during the booking process. If you experience any further problems with 3D secure process, please contact your bank.
Academic Robes
Academic Staff can book their robe through the below link and the deadline for Academic Staff to book their robe is Wednesday 23rd October, we will have a selection of spare robes for those who miss the deadline. Visit www.phelanconan.com/hire/academic to hire your academic robe now.
Academic Staff robes can be collected from room 8A505, TUS, Moylish campus.
Robe Collection
Robes can be collected from room 8A501 in the main building on the TUS Moylish campus. It is strongly advised to collect the evening prior to your ceremony to ensure you have sufficient time on the day of your ceremony, you will also receive your TWO guest invites when collecting your robe. Please ensure to collect your robe for this conferring session on Thursday 31st October between 5pm – 7:30pm or Friday 1st November between 8am – 9:30am.
All gowns must be returned to Phelan Conan in room 8A501 after the conclusion of your ceremony.
Graduates may source official graduation robes elsewhere if necessary.
Photography
Michael Martin Photography will be located on campus on the days of the graduations to take professional studio portraits of individual graduates and whatever other pictures you would like taken (with parents/ family/ siblings/grandparents/partners etc). Please visit their website www.mmeventphotography.ie to pre-register now ( click the “register for an event here” button) and see details of their photography packages. You do not have to pay anything to register. Pre-registering is essential for your photography session as it will cut queuing times for everybody. Registration cut off time is 11am Friday 25th of October.
Please note that, for promotional and archival purposes, photography/filming may take place on campus prior to and following the ceremony. These photographs/recordings may appear on our website (www.tus.ie) and may be reproduced and distributed to the media, both traditional and social, and on future graduation documentation.
If you would prefer not to be photographed, please take appropriate action such as advising the photographer, turning aside, or excusing yourself from the group.
