Graduates – Robes

An official invitation to your conferring ceremony will be sent to your TUS student email account. Please ensure that you register your attendance or non-attendance in accordance with the instructions provided in this email.

All graduates must pre-book robes with the official robe-makers, Phelan Conan Limited before Midnight Thursday 22^nd October 2026. Robes may be pre-booked online at www.phelanconan.com. The pre-paid hire fee is €45 or Pay on the day hire fee is €50.

The pay on the day hire fee can be made by scanning our QR code on the day. Cash will not be accepted.

Due to the implementation of a personal 3D secure password during the credit card payment process on https://www.phelanconan.com Phelan Conan Ltd staff are no longer able to take bookings over the phone. This has been created to protect your online payments and if you don’t already have a 3D secure password you can activate it by following the simple instructions during the booking process. If you experience any further problems with 3D secure process, please contact your bank.

Robes can be collected from room 8A501 , TUS , Moylish campus at the below dates and times, it is strongly advised to collect the evening prior to your ceremony to ensure you have sufficient time on the day of your ceremony, you will also receive your TWO guest invites when collecting your robe.

All gowns must be returned to Phelan Conan in room 8A501 after the conclusion of your ceremony.

The University has appointed a contracted gown hire provider through a competitive procurement process. Graduands who wish to use this service may hire their academic dress from the University’s contracted supplier. Booking information, hire charges and collection arrangements will be published here in advance of each graduation ceremony. Graduands are not required to use the University’s contracted supplier and may obtain the appropriate academic dress from another supplier if they wish. Graduands choosing an alternative supplier are responsible for ensuring that their gown, hood, and cap are correct for their award.

Photography

Michael Martin Photography will be located on campus, on the days of the Conferring Ceremonies, to take professional studio portraits of individual graduates and pictures you may wish taken (with parents/ family/ siblings/grandparents/partners etc). Please visit Michael Martin Photography’s website – https://www.mmeventphotography.ie/registration-forms-tus/ to pre-register now. Pre-registering your photography session is essential as it will cut queuing times for everybody on the day. The registration will end on Sunday 25th of October 2026. After you can register in person on the day of the graduation.

Please note that, for promotional and archival purposes, photography/filming may take place on campus prior to and following the ceremonies. These photographs/recordings may appear on our website (www.tus.ie) and may be reproduced and distributed to the media, both traditional and social, and on future graduation documentation.

If you would prefer not to be photographed, please take appropriate action such as advising the photographer, turning aside, or excusing yourself from the group.

Academic Staff – Robes

Academic Staff can book their robe through the below link and the deadline for Academic Staff to book their robe is Sunday 18^th October, – https://www.phelanconan.com/hire/academic

Academic Staff robes can be collected from room 8A505 , TUS , Moylish campus.

Ceremony Booklet

Please note that the ceremony booklet will be provided online only. The QR code to view the booklet will be provided to graduands and their guests at the graduation venue.

The booklet can only be accessed using the QR code. The booklet will be available online until Friday 30th of October.

Shuttle Bus

To accommodate graduates and their guests during graduations, overflow parking will be available at the TUS Gaelic Grounds. A free shuttle bus service will operate between the TUS Gaelic Grounds and TUS Moylish campus, providing convenient transport to and from the ceremony venue.

Pick up locations:

TUS Gaelic Grounds – Corrib Drive entrance, Gate 5 and 6.

Graduates and their attendees can park here and take the shuttle bus directly to the Moylish campus and back after the ceremony.

TUS Moylish campus – Bus Bay located at the front of the campus.

Graduates and their attendees will get dropped off and collected at the same location on the Moylish campus. The Bus Bay located at the front of the campus.

Thursday 29^th and Friday 30^th

Morning Shuttle Bus Service 08:15am – 09:30am	Midday Shuttle Bus Service 11:30am – 2pm	Afternoon Shuttle Bus Service 16:00pm – 6:00pm
– Bus will shuttle over and back between the times above. – 1^st ceremony starts at 9:30am. – Graduates need to be in the Marquee by 9:15am	– Bus will shuttle over and back between the times above. – 1^st Ceremony will end approx. 11:30am – 2^nd Ceremony will start at 2pm. – Graduates need to be in the Marquee by 1:45pm	– Bus will shuttle over and back between the times above. – 2^nd Ceremony will end approx. 4pm – Graduates and Guests have until 6pm to take the shuttle back to the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
