Dr Cian O’Shea is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of the Built Environment at TUS on the Moylish campus. He holds an MSc and PhD in Economics from the University of Limerick, where he was a member of the Privatisation and PPP Research Cluster. His research to date focuses on the economics and efficiency of public sector infrastructure procurement. He has published research in several international journals on the use of public-private partnerships in the education sector. He was previously employed at the University of Limerick and Trinity College Dublin, where he lectured and taught economics and econometrics to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
