As Vice President for Campus Services and Capital Development, Mary has responsibility for the executive leadership and strategic management of Estates, Capital Development, Computer Services, Health & Safety, and Sport.
Prior to joining TUS in March 2026, Mary served as Principal Officer in the civil service for 18 years, mainly in the Department of Education, providing strategic leadership across social inclusion, capital planning & development, and IT & data projects.
Mary’s previous tenure in the higher education sector includes clinic manager at the National Optometry Centre and lecturer at Dublin Institute of Technology.
Mary holds a PhD in Optometry (Cardiff University), MSc in Innovation Management in the Public Service (Ulster University/Letterkenny IT) and Professional Diploma in Corporate Governance (UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School).
