Sarah Ryan has over 20 years of experience in administration and finance. She joined Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in 2019 and worked within the Strategic Development, Research and Innovation (SDRI) department for six years, supporting research projects in both an administrative and finance capacity.
Sarah most recently spent 12 months in Research Finance, where she supported the financial reporting of state-funded research projects. In this role, she worked closely with project teams to ensure accurate reporting, compliance with funding requirements, and effective financial management.
She holds a Higher Diploma in Arts in Accounting from TUS and a qualification in Business and Secretarial Skills. Sarah also has a background in the hotel sector, having worked in front-of-house roles where she developed strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills that continue to support her professional work.
