Delivered over two semesters, the programme combines theoretical principles with practical application, making it ideal for individuals looking to upskill or transition into roles within manufacturing, supply chain, or quality-focused industries.
Semester 1 introduces key tools and frameworks for continuous improvement. Learners explore Problem Solving Tools and Techniques, gaining hands-on experience in identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions. Applied Practice 2: Organisational Alignment focuses on aligning individual and departmental objectives with broader organisational goals. Financial and Management Accounting builds essential financial literacy, supporting data-informed decision-making in operations contexts.
Semester 2 shifts focus to regulatory and supply chain domains. Supply Chain Management introduces logistics, procurement, and inventory strategies. Fundamentals in Regulatory Affairs gives learners a grounding in compliance and regulatory standards across sectors. Validation Principles and Practices provides insight into the systems and protocols that ensure product and process reliability—critical in regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
Whether you’re currently working in industry or seeking a career change, this flexible and applied programme delivers the skills needed to make an immediate impact in quality, operations, and supply chain roles.
Mature applicants (over 23 years of age) that have acquired the Certificate in Operations, Quality and Lean Management Level 6 qualification or equivalent qualification, as per the TUS RPL Policy.
