Gloria Callinan joined the Sustainable Development Research Insititute (SDRI) in Thurles in 2021 having worked for 20 years in rural, economic, local and community development. Gloria works on and supports a wide variety of sustainable skills research and development projects for TUS SDRI. Working in a multidisciplinary environment in SDRI, Gloria’s work focuses on proposal writing, new training content development, training delivery, project management, technical reporting, project partner collaboration, project coordination and stakeholder engagement. Built environment decarbonisation has been a particular focus of the work Gloria has undertaken for TUS. In addition, she has a passion for furthering community energy in Ireland through a number of EU funded projects.
