Driving Tips for Students
- Avoid peak times: Traffic around the Coonagh Roundabout and Ennis Road can get heavy during morning and evening rush hours. Leave extra time if travelling between 8:00–9:00 am and 5:00–6:00 pm.
- Use alternative routes: If traffic is heavy on the N18, local routes via Caherdavin or Clondrinagh can be quicker.
- Carpool where possible: Sharing lifts with classmates helps reduce costs, eases parking pressure, and is more sustainable.
- Plan for weather: In wet conditions, the N18 and roundabouts can become congested—allow more time for your journey.
- Know the rules: Familiarise yourself with campus parking signage to avoid fines or clamping.
