Bike Parking on Campus
We have a secure covered bike shed on campus, giving you a safe place to store your bike during the day. To use the bike shed, you’ll need a fob, available from the Estates Office for a €10 refundable deposit. Return the fob when it’s no longer needed to get your refund
Cycle Safety & Support
- Wear a helmet and bright/reflective clothing – free high-vis vests are available from the Smarter Travel Office (email: smartertravel@tus.ie).
- Use front and rear lights in poor weather or low-light conditions.
- Lock your bike securely with a quality lock.
- Follow the rules of the road and be mindful of pedestrians.

Limerick City & County Council, with funding from the National Transport Authority (NTA), are continuously upgrading and expanding cycle lanes across the city. These improvements are making it safer, quicker, and more enjoyable to cycle to TUS campuses, including Coonagh.
