Students at TUS may require additional supports as some point during their time here on the Athlone campus. The Access services offers the following financial assistance as listed below. Access services can be found on the D corridor in rooms D07 and D09 or you can email access.midlands@tus.ie with any questions you may have.
Student Assistance Fund
The Student Assistance Fund provides financial assistance for students who are experiencing financial difficulty whilst attending college. Scan the QR Code for more information.
Laptop on Loan Scheme
The Laptop on Loan scheme provides long and short-term loans of laptops to students who may be struggling financially and cannot afford a laptop or computer to participate in university life.
1916 Bursary – For First Years Only
The 1916 Bursary is a financial award to encourage the participation and success of students from sections of society that are significantly underrepresented in higher education. Scan the QR to see if you are eligible.
The KickStart Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is newly established by the Probation Service, and supported by the Irish Prison Service, aims to support persons with a criminal justice history who are experiencing socio-economic disadvantage to access Higher Education (HE). Scan the QR to find out more.
