TUS’s annual Engineering Showcase takes place on our Coonagh Campus on Wednesday 9th April 2025, from 10am to 1pm. This event provides our Engineering students with an opportunity to present the project work they have completed throughout the past Academic year, in areas such as 3D CAD, CNC machining, 3D printing, Simulations, Facilities, Process Improvement, Sustainability and much more. Also, kicking off the event this year is the launch of a new Alpha Laser machine, being delivered by TLM Laser.
Joining us on the day will be a range of industry representatives from companies such as AIR, Shortts Stainless Steel, Zimmer Biomet, Rockwell Engineering, O’Neill Industrial, Cobots, Dennehy Motors, Smithstown Light Engineering, Johnson & Johnson and many more. Awards are given to best project and student, selected and sponsored by industry representatives.
The menus below will take you to each category of students in our Showcase, which involve both group and individual project work from the students across a range of different courses in the Department of Mechanical & Automobile Engineering. If there are any projects on display that are of interest to you, or you wish to contact any of the students linked to these projects, please email Emma.Kelly@tus.ie.
The Faculty of Engineering and the Technology welcomes you to the Engineering Showcase organised by the Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. This event highlights the activities, products produced and creativity of our students and reflects the support, encouragement and engagement of staff with students throughout their learning in TUS. On behalf of the Faculty, I would like to thank our industry sponsors who have championed this event over the years and provided many prizes to students. I would like to wish you all an enjoyable event as I know there are some wonderful projects on display this year.
Maria Kyne, Dean of Faculty of Engineering & Technology
