The MSc in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Analysis programme at TUS Athlone was a turning point in my professional journey. The programme was incredibly hands-on, with extensive training in advanced techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis and FTIR. The modules on quality control, regulatory standards, and method development truly prepared me for real-world challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.
What stood out most was the support from the Academic Faculty members and the practical focus of the programme, which included industry workshops and a research thesis that deepened my skills in drug discovery and microbiological analysis. Shortly after completing the programme, I started my current role as a Production Operator at Jabil Health Care, where I now apply my knowledge daily in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance. From performing in-process QC checks to driving continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, the foundation laid by the MSc in Pharmaceutical and Chemical Analysis programme at TUS has been instrumental in enabling my success in the industry. I am grateful for this experience and would highly recommend the programme at TUS to anyone looking to build a career in the Pharmaceutical Sciences.
