Liam has significant public and private sector experience in the strategic development and operational management of research, development, innovation, community and enterprise engagement.
His specific focus is on activities that make a difference to society, foster creativity and entrepreneurship and shape the entrepreneurs of the future.
Liam represents TUS on a number of external boards and is the TUS lead for the European Universities Alliance: RUN-EU (Regional University Network – European University).
He is heavily involved with the Technological Higher Education Association and continues to actively research through postgraduate student supervision and publishing in his field.
He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Limerick and a PhD from Trinity College Dublin, focused on workplace-based eLearning in the Enterprise Performance Optimisation domain of Continuous Improvement – Lean and Six Sigma.
