A Programme Coordinator and Lecturer at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Athlone Campus. Supportive of the Head of Department in various activities related to student attendance, progression, retention, marketing, and accreditation of the polymer and mechanical engineering programmes. Lecturer in both theoretical and laboratory aspects of higher education and supervisor for final-year projects and apprenticeship students on industry placement.
With over 17 years of industry experience in polymer and mechanical engineering, a strong background in research and development, quality management systems, materials science, and medical device design is present. Currently pursuing a PhD in Polymer Engineering at TUS as part of the Smart Polymers Research Group, one of the most significant polymer materials processing research groups in Ireland at the Materials Research Institute. Also a co-inventor of patents and published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals. The mission is to advance knowledge and innovation in polymer engineering and to collaborate with distinguished industry and clinical partners.
