CPID supports innovation, diversity and excellence in learning, teaching and assessment by:

Supporting staff development, scholarship and educational research in learning, teaching, and assessment, including the appropriate use of digital technologies;

Supporting quality enhancement initiatives in curriculum design;

Facilitating the implementation of pedagogical initiatives and innovation including digital technologies using an evidence-based approach;

Encouraging the respect and support for a diverse student population and the development of student-centered learning environments in which students can learn and excel;

Valuing and rewarding teaching;

Promoting the development and dissemination of best practice in learning and teaching in higher education;

Working collaboratively across the university, nationally and internationally;

Promoting academic integrity and excellence in learning, teaching and assessment.
