Delivered fully online and part-time, the programme reflects the realities of modern supply chains, where organisations must respond to global disruption, regulatory pressure, digital transformation and increasing sustainability demands. The course builds advanced capability in strategic decision-making, data-led analysis, ethical leadership and the effective use of technology across procurement and supply chain operations.
Across the year, learners develop a deep, integrated understanding of how supply chains operate at a strategic level. Modules such as Intelligent Technologies in Procurement and Supply Chains and Decision Making and Business Analytics focus on how data, digital systems and emerging technologies support informed decision-making. Global Supply Chain Management develops the ability to manage complex, international supply networks, while Regulatory Compliance in the Supply Chain ensures graduates understand the legal and governance frameworks shaping modern operations.
Sustainability and ethical practice are embedded throughout the programme, with Business Ethics and Sustainability examining how responsible decision-making and ESG principles can be leveraged as a source of competitive advantage. Strategic leadership and execution are further developed through Applied Practice: Crafting and Executing Strategy, which allows learners to apply theory directly to real organisational challenges.
Learning is highly applied and work-focused, enabling students to connect academic theory with their own professional experience. Graduates of the programme are well positioned to progress to Level 9 postgraduate study or advance into senior procurement, logistics and supply chain management roles across a wide range of sectors.
This Level 8 Add-On programme consists of six modules (60 ECTS) delivered over one academic year. All modules are designed at honours level and focus on strategic, analytical and leadership capability within procurement, logistics and supply chain management.
