This programme is designed to introduce the student to the core elements of project management. The programme explores the project lifecycle and project management knowledge areas, adopting current tools and techniques, including current project management software. The programme will give the student the knowledge, skills and competencies to design and manage projects in organisations.
Programme Overview

Mature applicants (i.e over 23 years)
or
Leaving Certificate Grade O6 at ordinary level in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate. Two of these subjects must be Mathematics and a language (English or Irish)
or
QQI Level 5 Full award with a minimum of eight modules. or Recognition of Prior Learning (APL/APEL)
2-3 evenings per week 6pm to 9pm (online)
Induction
Induction for the September 2024 programmes takes place on Saturday 7 September 2024 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
In advance, you will be required to review Pre-Induction reading material, available to you on https://tus.ie/flexible.
During Induction, you will be given the opportunity to:
– Meet your programme lecturers, programme co-ordinator and students
– Overview of the programme handbook, programme’s modules, assessments and delivery timetable
– Introduction to TUS learning systems including MS Office, Zoom, Moodle etc
– Outline of the learning supports available to you during the programme

Students who complete this Special Purpose Award are eligible to progress onto our part-time online certificate Programmes at TUS.
