  • The assessment process is a driver of learning in this module. The assessment method used is a substantial reflective journal that addresses all elements of the learning outcomes.

The reflective journal is a substantial piece of work which incorporates elements that reflects all of the syllabus in one form or another. The journal specifically requires that students consider and indicate (through readings, reflective pieces and a specific action project) how the learning from the programme might be applied in their own work environments,.

The reflective journal is assessed on the basis of the depth of understanding demonstrated of the topics covered in the syllabus; the degree to which the application of these concepts in a real work environment is demonstrated; and the growth in personal effectiveness and capacity of the individual is demonstrated.

Students receive feedback throughout the module.
