BIM for Facilities Managers (Certificate, L8, 10 ECTS)

  • Status: Register Your Interest

  • Campus: Online

  • weeks: 10

  • Fees: HCI Pillar 3 Funding – see Fees section below

Course Overview

The cost to operate built assets often eclipses the construction costs. Digital Twins, a product of BIM, can provide key insights into the operations costs of building and infrastructure. This programme will enable Facilities Managers to leverage the opportunities that Digital Twinning and BIM have to offer. Starting with a focus on the operations data deliverables required during the construction phase, the course transitions to data management & control for the operations phase. Course participants will be provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to fully leverage their data assets to deliver sustainable operations throughout the asset life cycle.
