Students begin at Level 6 and progress to complete a full Level 7 ordinary degree. Year One – Certificate in Business English for Professionals (Level 6)

1. Introduction to Business

Introduces financial terminology, the basics of financial accounting, and budgeting concepts in a business context.

This programme is delivered fully online and part-time, making it ideal for working professionals, those with caring responsibilities, or anyone seeking flexibility in their learning.

Each academic year consists of two teaching semesters. Students typically study three modules per semester, each worth 10 ECTS credits. The delivery model includes:

  • Live online classes (2 hours per module per week, scheduled in evenings)

  • Pre-recorded content and structured activities

  • 14 hours of self-directed study per week (approx.)

  • Use of Zoom, Moodle and other digital platforms for interactive learning

Live classes typically take place on weekday evenings (Monday–Thursday), with schedules shared before each semester. Sessions are recorded to allow for flexible access if you miss a class.
