The programme has been driven by the positive engagement with employers in a number of different sectors including community organisations as employers. The overall response has been positive. There is an accepted recognition of the skills gaps in these fields and a growing demand for expertise in the social enterprise sector and sustainability. Employability was one of the key strategic themes emerging from this review.
