About the Fund for Students with Disabilities (FSD)
The Fund for Students with Disabilities (FSD) provides funding to third-level institutions to support students with disabilities. The fund ensures that students can fully participate in their academic programmes without being disadvantaged due to their disability. The FSD is supported by the Irish Government.
Applying for Support
Students are advised to register with the Disability Support Service (DSS) as early as possible when starting college. To qualify for support, students must meet specific eligibility criteria, which will be outlined upon registration with the service.
