DARE – The Disability Access Route to Education is a third level alternative admissions scheme for school-leavers whose disabilities have had a negative impact on their second level education.
DARE (Disability Access Route to Education) offers reduced points places to school leavers who, due to a disability, have experienced additional educational challenges in second-level education.

If you have a DARE offer, you may secure a place at TUS Athlone Campus with reduced points (10%), provided you meet the minimum entry and specific subject requirements for your chosen course.
Once you accept your course, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to begin the Online Disability Support registration process. We carry out individual Needs Assessments to tailor support to your requirements.
