Click HereThis programme aims to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the strategic management of human resources and employee engagement to drive organisational success. The programme focuses on developing expertise in key areas such as ethics and sustainability, employee engagement, leadership and the effective use of technology in Talent Management and Employee Engagement. Graduates will be prepared to lead talent management initiatives, fostering positive workplace cultures and enhancing overall organisational performance in a dynamic business environment.
This programme will be delivered online and part-time through an innovative and interactive online learning environment. It utilises highly participatory learning and teaching pedagogy. The flexibility and agility of this programme, will allow learners to specialise in a pathway most suited to their skills, career aspirations, and employer needs while undertaking core modules that will give them the necessary skills and competencies which are required in a variety of talent management and employee engagement roles at a strategic level.
International Logistics, Automation and the Future of Work
This module explores the transformative impact of automation technologies on the workforce and organisational structures. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the key technological advancements driving automation, including artificial intelligence, robotics, and machine learning.
The module critically evaluates the economic and social implications of automation, such as job displacement and creation, shifts in labour market dynamics, and changes in workforce demographics. There will be specific focus on English language acquisition through its application to the area of automation and the future of work within the business domain. English language acquisition is a key component of the module.
Workplace Psychology and Interpersonal Skills
This module explores the critical aspects of workplace psychology and the development of effective interpersonal skills essential for organisational success. Students will gain a deep understanding of key psychological theories and concepts, focusing on their application to employee behaviour, motivation, and well-being. The module covers essential topics such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and stress management, emphasising practical techniques to enhance individual and group performance
Decision Making and Business Analytics
The module aims to develop the ability to understand, analyse and use financial information as part of strategic planning and implementation process within an organisation. The student will develop an awareness of issues in financial reporting and corporate finance, as well as developing a strong foundation for further study. The module will provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to evaluate business situations from a financial viewpoint, and to enable them to play a key role in financial decision-making and control at an executive level within an organisation.
Business Ethics and Sustainability
This module introduces students to the topic of business ethics and sustainability by covering aspects of moral philosophy, ethics in business, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility and environmentalsocial governance.
On completion of the module students will develop an understanding of how ethical and sustainable practices can be utilised as a source of competitive advantage in business.
Applied Practice 4 – Crafting and Executing Strategy
This module is designed to enhance the student’s understanding and the capacity to evaluate critically the theory of strategic management and the challenges facing senior management in formulating strategy. The nature and complexity of the business environment will provide the framework for the development of skills and competencies to facilitate an analysis of resources and strategic capability across the organisation. Through case studies, group discussions and evaluative exercises, participants will learn how to appraise and select strategic options in relation to an organisation’s vision, structure and goals. The module also provides coverage of particular problems inherent in strategy implementation, change management, and management across cultures. The module will be applied to the candidates’ workplace and for those candidates that are not currently in employment, they will be supported with a live case study.
Creating Engaging workplaces for Employee Wellbeing
This module explores the critical components of creating engaging and healthy workplaces, focusing on enhancing employee well-being, satisfaction, and performance. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of the theories and models of employee engagement and well-being, and the role of leadership in fostering a positive organisational culture. The module covers essential topics such as workplace health initiatives, work-life balance, and strategies for promoting diversity and inclusion.

A Bachelor of Business in Talent Management

An approved Level 7 qualification in a cognate discipline

In line with university policies, non-native English speakers are required to have an IELTS level of 6.0 or higher.
This programme will be delivered online though our virtual learning environment.
Each 10-credit module normally equates to approximately 200 total learning hours. Total learning hours include the time spent in class, such as lectures, tutorials, and practical elements, as well as time spent working independently outside of college.
The balance between these varies by discipline and level of study, and learners should be aware that workload will increase at particular times, especially when assignments are due.
The programme is assessed through a combination of continuous assessments, project work and examinations.
