Full Programme of Events

The new annual RUN-EU day offer those curious about RUN-EU an opportunity to learn more about how to engage and access programmes, our research initiatives, the power of European collaboration and of course a bit of craic along the way.  The initiative constitutes an important highlight of our European University Alliance calendar, offering students, staff and our associated partners an opportunity to showcase their experience with the initiative; engage in debates, networking and collaboration with one another.

Highlights include:

Photography Competition: ‘One Alliance, Many Stories’ open to all TUS undergraduate students, postgraduate students and staff. €100 voucher for each category winner. 

Submissions: 24th Sept – 10th Oct.

Share your favourite story, memory or magical moment under the theme of ‘One Alliance, Many Stories’. The image does not need to be captured while participating in a RUN-EU event. However, it should encapsulate the spirit and ethos of RUN-EU, as a European University that embodies collaboration, sustainability, multiculturalism, and inclusiveness in all its work.

Table Quiz: Do EU Know It All? 

Thursday 16th October, 6.00 – 8.00 pm at the Snug Bar, Athlone, N37C6T2

A European & RUN-EU themed table quiz open to all students, staff and collaborators. Max 4 people per team. 

Prizes: 1st place – 4 x €50; 2nd place – 4 x €25; 3rd place – 4 x RUN-EU & TUS Goodies.

EU Values Workshop: Embedding European Values in Curriculum Design at TUS in partnership with CPID.

Thursday 16th October, 2.00 – 4.00pm. Online

This workshop invites participants to explore the fundamental aims and values of the European Union and consider how these principles can meaningfully inform activities across all disciplines TUS.
