This programme will be fully funded for eligible applicants.

This programme is aimed at those already working in an operative /team leader/supervisory manager role or aspiring to do so. It is also suitable for unemployed persons that meet the entry requirements. The programme covers the technical, managerial, interpersonal, and leadership knowledge, skills and competencies required for supervisory and team leadership/ management roles in organisations.

The main objective of the Certificate in Supervisory Management and Team Leadership is to provide learners of all backgrounds with the opportunity to explore and develop their interest in Management and Leadership. This course will give learners the opportunity to further their skill, or re-skill and make a positive contribution to the economy through gaining an understanding of the dynamics of business and in particular from a leadership and management perspective ensuring they are better at making decisions, solving problems and skilled for the workplace of the future.

  • Applied Practise 1 – Personal and Professional Context

Mature applicants (i.e., over 23 years)

Leaving Certificate Grade O6 at ordinary level in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate. Two of these subjects must be Mathematics and a language (English or Irish)
or
QQI Level 5 – Full award with a minimum of eight modules
or
Recognition of Prior Learning.

 

2-3 evenings per week 6pm to 9pm (online) Plus selected Saturdays per 9am – 1pm (online).

One Year

Graduates from this programme take up leadership and management positions across a multi-disciplinary range of industries. The competencies developed on the programme enable the learner to excel in their role as a manager.
