Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)
Everyone, regardless of background, can learn, work, belong, and succeed in education. Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) is about fostering an inclusive, diverse, safe and respectful culture. Equality Diversity and Inclusion strives to build an inclusive culture, promote equality, prevent discrimination and protect the human rights of staff, students, and everyone affected by the universities policies and plans.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
UDL is a set of principles for curriculum development that give all individuals equal opportunities to learn, including Students with Disabilities. UDL aims to improve the educational experience of all students by introducing more flexible methods of teaching, assessment and service provision to cater for the diversity of learners in our classrooms.
Employability
Employability is about a broad set of skills and attributes that will enable a graduate to be successful throughout their working life. It is the unique mix of skills, abilities and personal qualities that makes graduates more likely to gain employment and be successful in their chosen occupations, which benefits themselves, the workforce, the community and the economy.
