Across semester two on the TUS Athlone campus, the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics will host ‘The Engineering Olympics’ Initiative. The event promises to be an enriching experience, providing students with a taste of university life within Engineering. Student will use basic design, build and test skills in two engaging engineering events. Equipment and all materials are provided. No previous skills needed in engineering or technology.
To ensure that each student has a quality experience, we have limited spaces available. Therefore, we are inviting 15 Transition Year students. We would particularly welcome a mixed group, including girls interested in exploring engineering. Places are limited per session, and can be reserved below.
