Promoting TUS Research in the Midlands & Midwest.

The inaugural Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Research Week is taking place 17 – 21 April.  Throughout the week a range of informative, hybrid events will be run across both the Midlands and Midwest campuses and online.

It will focus on all aspects of the research process including ‘Developing Your Research Profile’, the ‘Fulbright Scholarship Roadshow’, the ‘Creative Design Process’ and ‘Research Ethics’. In addition to our international collaborative partnerships including ‘ORCHESTRA – Driving Marine-Based Innovation in the Orchard International Research Project, led by our RUN-EU partner Polytechnic of Leiria, Portugal.

The core ethos of TUS Research Week is to create an engaging platform, where the huge range of innovative projects and initiatives from areas such as Technology, Engineering, Business and Science will be showcased to the wider student body, industry and beyond. Fostering a culture of collaboration, in addition to stimulating creativity, creating real-world impacts and fostering economic development in a regional, national and international capacity.
